With over two decades of post-call experience, he has built a distinguished practice advising and representing individuals, families, businesses, and institutions in complex contentious and non-contentious matters.

Adebowale’s practice spans civil and commercial litigation, real estate and property transactions, probate and estate administration, family law, debt recovery, corporate advisory, and alternative dispute resolution. He is particularly regarded for his painstaking attention to detail, strategic handling of disputes, and ability to navigate intricate legal issues with diligence, precision, and sound judgment. Prior to establishing Bola Adebowale & Co. in 2012, he served as Head of Chambers at reputable legal practices where he supervised litigation teams, managed complex matters, and honed his advocacy and leadership skills. Beyond legal practice, he brings significant entrepreneurial and management experience as the Managing Director of a geospatial services company and founder of an agro-allied enterprise, enabling him to offer commercially informed and pragmatic legal solutions.
Y. B. Adebowale holds a Master of Laws (LL.M.) degree from the University of Ibadan, an LL.B. (Hons.) from the University of Ibadan, and was called to the Nigerian Bar after completing his professional training at the Nigerian Law School, Lagos Campus. His academic research has focused on constitutional governance, electoral jurisprudence, and comparative impeachment processes, reflecting a sustained interest in public law and institutional accountability.
He is a member of the Nigerian Bar Association (NBA) and has held several leadership positions in academic, professional, and community-based organisations.
